Shingle Vaccine

Eligibility from 1^st September 2023:

If you are (70 – 79) 70 and over and have not reached your 80^th birthday, then you eligible for the vaccine and should book an appointment with a nurse.

If you have reached your (80) 80^th birthday, then you are no longer eligible for the vaccine.

If you have turned 65 since 1^st Sep 2023 and not 66 until after 31^st Aug 2024, then you are eligible for the vaccine.  If you turned 65 before the 1^{st of} Sep 23, then you are not eligible until you turn 70.

Weakened Immune patients from the age of 50 are eligible for the vaccine.
